At Okmetic, you will play a crucial role in advancing global technological development. As a maintenance technician, you will ensure that cutting-edge technology operates effectively. Could you be the next top-notch professional who ensures the functionality of our production equipment?

Innovations in the semiconductor industry don’t happen without functioning equipment

As a maintenance professional, you will hold a position of responsibility at the pinnacle of the technology industry. Our maintenance team ensures that equipment operates as intended and our production process runs efficiently and smoothly 24/7, with no disruptions. Work is primarily conducted during the day with flexible working hours.

We will train you to become a top-notch professional

You don’t need to be an expert in the semiconductor industry to start as a maintenance technician. Our supportive work environment and the backing of a skilled organization offer you the opportunity to grow into a top expert in your field. As a maintenance technician, you will tackle electrical, automation, and mechanical issues across a wide range of production equipment. You will constantly learn and develop your professional skills.

Technical work as part of a team and individually

When you join our company, you will begin a comprehensive induction program, after which you will be able to work independently, in pairs, and as part of a team. You will learn about the different stages of production under the guidance of more experienced colleagues, and you will also be trained in occupational safety, the 5S principles, and other necessary work practices.

Our staff is the foundation of our success

Taking care of our staff and valuing our employees are paramount values for us – each one of us plays a significant role in the whole. You will have access to occupational health services, and your well-being is promoted through recreational activities, a work bicycle benefit, culture and sports benefits, and assistance with childcare for sick children. We also have our own gym.

A maintenance technician ensures that high technology works

“The key to being a good maintenance technician is having the ability to remain calm and be patient. You should always think twice before doing something. For me, it is very motivating to be able to learn something new about the equipment each day,” says Jennifer Siekkinen.
