We comply with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies in all our operations. Our approach is guided by the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Code of Conduct, which defines social, environmental and ethical industry standards.

Information protection

We respect the intellectual property rights and privacy of our customers, suppliers and personnel. We process all confidential data in accordance with EU laws and regulations. We use non-disclosure agreements with our customers and other partners as part of our business agreements.

Customer data, intellectual property, and related documentation are stored and process exclusively within Okmetic secure IT environment in Finland. Access to confidential information is restricted to authorized personnel only.

Responsible sourcing

We make purchases responsibly and follow the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Code of Conduct as a guideline for our operations. We expect our suppliers and business partners to adhere to the same standards. We source minerals from responsible sources and do not use conflict minerals.

Reporting and ethics culture

Okmetic has zero tolerance for bribery, corruption, extortion or embezzlement in any form. Okmetic’s personnel have the right to bring up any concerns related to business ethics anonymously and without a fear of counter or punitive measures. Other stakeholders also have this right.
