Collecting personal data and purposes of use
Okmetic collects and processes personal data of the website visitors when they request for an offer or ask for additional information of products, make an order or in connection with networking or contact request.
The personal data collected and processed by Okmetic may include:
- contact details (e.g. name, email address, phone number);
- other relevant information provided by you when requested; and
- information collected of visitor when he/she uses Okmetic’s website (e.g. IP-address, web log data).

We use your personal data to make offers or give You information of semiconductor industry and of Okmetic as an employer or to process your contact request. It may be necessary to identify You in order to offer products or services or as job applicant.
Okmetic may receive and collect personal data (including e.g. name and email) from marketing data bases provided to Okmetic by third parties or public sources such as Google, LinkedIn, and different business related organisations’ and events’ member and participant lists that have relevance to Okmetic’s business operations and with job applicant’s consent from service providers specialized on recruiting.
Job applicant gives his/her consent to process personal data to promote Okmetic’s recruiting process when applicant sends personal data with the application or when communicating with the recruitment team. Especially the following personal data is processed in connection with recruitment: applicant’s name and contact information, training and education, work history and assessments.
Protecting personal data
Okmetic protects your personal data on a high security level and has for this purpose taken adequate technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access to and illicit conversion, spreading or eradication of personal data. Access to personal data is limited only to those Okmetic’s employees, directors, officers, contractors, and service providers who need to process the personal data as a part of their duties.
Transfer of personal data
Okmetic does not transfer or disclose your personal data to a third party without your permission, except when necessary for processing a request for quotation or fulfilling an order, including without limitation, providing necessary information to logistics service providers, as well as responding to your requests or answering your inquiries, or as necessary for protecting Okmetic’s, its website users’ and/or the public’s rights, property and/or safety.
Okmetic may share personal data within Okmetic Group for the purposes described in this Policy.
